Why you get Runtime Errors and How to Fix them?

Runtime refers to the time required by a particular computer application to start from the beginning and ultimately end. Usually, the reason behind runtime errors is the fact that applications cannot be tested in every possible PC environment before being used.

If your computer shows a runtime error, do not panic, it is nothing very serious. Runtime errors may also occur due to malware or malicious software, or may be viruses upsetting the smooth functioning of your PC. The most common runtime errors are:

• Division by zero
• Disk full
• Error in loading DLL
• Input past end of file
• File not found
• Operating system error
• Overflow
• Out of memory
• Path/File access error
• Subscript out of range
• Permission denied
• Type Mismatch.

Faced with runtime errors, what you can do

• In my case, I installed anti-virus and anti-spyware software on my PC – this surely helped. However, the best way to get rid of runtime errors is RegCure, a registry cleaner program. The registry cleaner software will not only help you stop the runtime error from taking place, but will also make sure that your computer is not disturbed by other problems that make a PC lag behind in efficiency.

• Some runtime errors can also be sought out manually. It may conflict with present Windows programs, services and processes. In that case, you can simultaneously press CTRL+ALT+DELETE and then release the keys. This will bring up the Windows Task Manager. Next, you click on End Task to stop the running of the appropriate application. Open the application again and check, if the runtime error occurs again.

• Another viable way to fix the runtime error would be to enter the code of the error into a search engine and search for its solution. In order to remove any spyware or virus, scan your system with an anti-spyware and anti-virus. This will reveal the hidden malfunctioning program in the background that may interfere with the functioning of your system.

• If all else fails and you do not have a clue about a runtime error and do not know how to fix it – just uninstalling and then reinstalling the application would obviously help.
